The hotel Residenza Ki was an outstanding B&B- a 2 star hotel with a 5 star feel. Our room was perfect- the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was double that of our cruise the week prior, and the staff was friendly and so helpful- the location was PERFECT, just down the street from the Trevi and a couple blocks away from the Spanish Steps, we were able to see it ALL because of this outstanding location.

Recommended for the price
For the cost of this bed and breakfast, it was well worth the money. The staff provided some of the best service I have ever received. In short, five-star service for a three-star price. The location was great and very close to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Overall the room we stayed in was just average (and the shower not so great), but the cost, service and location definitely made up for it. From hanging around the hotel, it sounds like the other rooms were a step up. We walked in without a reservation, and they provided the last room available, so the room we received may not be indicative of the other rooms. In summary, I would definitely go back to this bed and breakfast.

Be sure to ask the front desk for directions to the better dinning areas. The food in Rome was incredible, but there are certain neighborhoods that will provide a better dinning experience.

Location isn't everything
Hotel entrance is a doorway on a dark back street. Rooms on 2nd & 3rd floors-no lift.Stairway shared with residents on upper floors. Small reception at another hotel at end of street. Only 3 tables for breakfast so had to queue. Fridge in room so noisy it kept us awake. Suitable only for backpackers and students!
