The 4 star Hotel Regno is a charming and sophisticated hotel located in the heart of Rome on Via del Corso not far from the Trevi Fountain. Comfort; class and elegance distinguish this historical building which was once a Government Library. The hotel is well renowned for great service and friendly efficient staff. All rooms and suites have been furnished with valuable materials; are acclimatized and include telephone with a direct internal personal number and the possibility to connect with internet; satellite television and fridge bar. All the bathrooms have been renewed and are complete with bath; shower and hairdryer. As of 01Jan2011 a Tourist Tax on a per person and per night basis will be charged which is not included in the total room price and which must be paid in cash at the hotel. Additional Information; Children age 3 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over this age will be considered an adult. The hotel reserves the right without prior notification to cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.

Great location, friendly staff

We had two nights to spend in Rome at the tail-end of a 10-day visit to Tuscany and Umbria, so our main priority was location. Of course, we still wanted a nice clean (3-4 star) hotel, even though we didn't plan on spending too much time there as we tried to cram in as much sightseeing as possible. Bottom line, you'll be hard pressed to find better value in terms of quality, cleanliness, and proximity to the major sights.
