j'ai choisi cet hotel pour sa situation et pour ses possibilités de parking facile puis j'ai circulé en bus/métro de façon aisée ; bus à proximité de l'hotel. petit déjeuner copieux et de bonne qualité. confort et propreté de la chambre appréciables. personnel accueillant et attentif. environnement calme

Hotel Stay - For a couple
Hi the Hotel was located half hour away by bus from the central station and the metro is closer to central station. IT was a nice a hotel the taxi fare back to the hotel was around EUR15 so its ok to take a bus to the centre then go about on your journey around Rome. Breakfast was nice Crossaints and cakes only. Very clean each day we received clean bed and towels. The decor is pretty olden itialian style. I liked staying there wouldn't mind staying again! But next time may stay closer to central city.

There is no central location for Rome everything you see is spread across. Adivse you to do the hop-on and Hop off bus only choose the Red Bus not others as red one is more frequent. Dont get trapped paying too much with walking guide tours choose wisely! Sadly maybe due to easter break could not find a nice restaurant it was all tourist cafe's quick food. Will need to go back to try italian food may need to go into side alley's to try the real deal. Over-all a nice holiday we walked a lot so take your walking trainers you will need it!!

L’hôtel est un peu loin du centre ville ( 1heure ) de transport environ entre le bus et le métro. Les chambres sont petites et très mal insonorisés. Le personnel est agréable et compétent.

qualité de l hotel
sejour tres agreable personnel tres gentil et serviable bonne cuisine bien situé avec une ligne de bus a 200 metre direct pour le vatican( 1 euro le ticket) tres bon sejour dans cet hotel

This hotel is BAD, stay away Some of the worst things about the hotel 1) Reception staff - extremely impolite, they hung up my phone when I asked for information 2) Size of the room and especially bathroom : very tiny, sufficient for a single person only 3) Location - far away from the city center, atleast 30 min by bus and train 4) Facilities - virtually none provided- no kettle, iron 5) Food quality: breakfast was bad, no variety at all 5) Check in time- 3:30 pm, hotel is very strict on this, we waited for 6 hours to get the room and hotel did not provide any courtesy sevices (internet in lobby, water) during this time Good things 1) Price is very affordable Overall this hotel does not match up to its 4 star status

Nice hotel a little hard to get to...
While I was in Rome I went and saw the Colosseo and the Vatican City... I may have seen more but I seem to get lost or easily confused when in Rome. Though the Grand Flemming Hotel was a bus ride from the Airport(FCO)to the metro station a metro ride to another bus and then a short walk to hotel from bus stop. It was a very nice hotel and in which the Front Desk clerks were very helpful with my questions that I asked. I was also very relieved and grateful that most of the the front desk clerks spoke English considering I do not speak Italian! I would definitly stay here again if given the opportunity. Breakfast was included as part of the hotel fee!
