Most uncomfortable sleep
The room smelled of mold and mildew. The pillows and beds were possibly the hardest (not firm, but hard) I have ever slept on. The staff was not very friendly, as if it was late August in Paris at the end of a long tourist season. The redeeming value was its location - a mere two blocks from the train station.

Place to sleep
Very easy to get to from the Termini. Room was clean, bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom had mold on the walls and ceilings. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, this hotel is not it. If you are looking for a place to sleep and will spend minimal time in the room, the hotel is perfect. The staff was very helpful and the hotel provided a continental breakfast every morning from 7-10am. I would stay there again if their prices remain the same. I gave it a 3 star rating due to the ease of getting to and from the airport and using the metro to get around the city, and the of course, the price was right in my budget.

A good place to sleep--but that's it!
Pros: Located near train station and the intersection of both Metro lines, room size was great, clean, updated bathrooms, internet place a few doors away. Cons: need metro to get into heart of city, breakfast was not good, front desk staff rude/obnoxious, neighborhood not very attractive, empty mini-bar (but there;s a place close by to purchase water/snacks. Would recommend something close to the Corso near Metros Spagna, Barbeirini, or Flaminio

A two minute walk from the Pantheon is "Capranica" (104 Piazza Caparanica) a great wine bar to sit inside or outside and have a great glass of wine. It is also a restaurant, but wine is their strong suit. I did not find anything like it in Rome.

Tolerable when you turned off the lights
The staff were welcoming and accommodating to our needs. The room we were assigned had a large outdoor solarium attached, something we had not anticipated. But the small room's draperies were in sad shape, barely hanging on the curtain rods. We appreciated the ability to leave our luggage in a secure area after check-out, until we needed to depart.

Bequemes Hotel in guter Lage.
Bequemes Hotel in guter Lage. Ausstattung ist Unterhaltsbedrftig jedoch nicht beinflussend. Frhstck ist mangelhaft. Das bekommt man auch beim B&B. Fr einen Kurztrip durchaus Buchbar. Service ist gut.

Roswita
Real Italian hotel, close to the
Real Italian hotel, close to the station but in a nice street. Breakfast very basic but plenty of it. The hotel is a little old so it would be hard to renovate the bathroom where one sits on the toilet with one's feet under the sink and one's face on top of the sink.But otherwise its a wonderful old Italian hotel.
