Ecohotel Rome

Loved everything about this hotel except its location. I guess it wouldn't be bad if you had your own vehicle, but over an hour to get to the train station via public transportation.

The staff was lovely and the rooms were very nice and quiet. The breakfast is delicious! The hotel is a little out of the way, but easy to get to and from the city by metro and bus. The internet at the hotel didn't work very well, however.

Eco Hotel is really a good hotel. The staff are very nice to you and will answer all your questions! The staff speak English well so you will have no problem with your needs. The breakfast is very good and not boring at all. All the pastries were delicious and so too were the health items all types of yogurts and cereals. They even have fresh mozzarella and fruits and Italian meats. The hotel is not in the center of Rome so you need to take Public transportation but this is easy and fun and you will meet real Italians!! The restaurants near the hotel are great and so cheap take time to use these restaurants good food at good prices Tom Wildwood Crest N.J.

Good location...easy to use public transportation system to get to all the popular tourists sites

The staff was incredibly helpful in telling us how to tour Rome, the hotel was very well kept and very nice on the inside, breakfast was exceptional. Although it was nice to be away from the craziness of the heart of Rome, it added a little bit of complexity getting to and from the hotel. That being said, it was fairly easy and close to catch a bus.

The breakfast was great. they have computer and internet service and that was very convinient. you have to take a bus and a metro to get to your hotel. that might be a bit inconvinience. the room was clean and all new. everything was fresh and clean. Loved the hotel itself. there was only one thing about the staff of the hotel, although i asked for extension of my stay for half a day and paid for it and i came back few minutes late to check out. they already entered my room. anyways overall the experience was great and the hotel was very enviornmental friendly.

Ecohotel was cozy, peaceful and away from the craziness of Rome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided us with maps, recommended restuarants, and answered any of our questions. If you are looking for a place outside of Rome and away from the noise this is a great stay. It is 1 hour by the bus H to the city and 1/2 an hour by bus to the Vatican, so make sure to plan for that. The breakfast in the morning is absolutely delicious, so make sure to have it everyday you are there.

My husband and I like new hotels with a cheery decor. We also like quiet locations. EcoHotel fit the bill perfectly on these preferences. It is a bit challenging to get to by mass transit the first time--subway and then a bus, but the hotel staff gave us a good guide sheet on how to get to the main sites of Rome via mass transit the next day. The buffet breakfast (which was included) was outstanding and included healthy food choices. The patio and grassy area behind the hotel were so inviting and peaceful. The staff went out of their way to meet our needs. If I return to Rome, I would definitely stay at the EcoHotel again.

Ecohotel made a great home base for my daughter and I during our one week exploring Rome. The hotel was half an hour from the core by bus, just far enough out to offer peace and quiet in a pleasant neighborhood. The rooms were compact but clean and attractive, sufficient for the time we spent there. The breakfast room was bright and cheery with an abundant offering of fruit, juice, pastries, cereals, bread, cold cuts and cheese. The cappuccino was wonderful! Staff were very pleasant and always helpful when seeking information. Good value for your money.
