Daniela Hotel Rome

The hotel is right off the Manzoni metro stop and within a few minutes walk of the Coliseum and Forum. Great location! This small hotel is in a very quiet neighborhood where I had never been before. When we checked in, the front desk attendant was really nice and helpful and spoke great English. (Others on the staff did not). The room was overheated with no thermostat and the hot water in the shower had no control either. There are no international TV channels. We were only there for the night and left for the airport at 6:00 am so I cannot comment on the breakfast that is included.

Room was clean and had "normal" size bathroom by U.S. standards. Staff was friendly and helpful. Quiet neighborhood that was safe to walk around at night. Several good restaurants three blocks away. Good breakfast in the morning.

Good location and clean but the room was tired and in need of refurbishment with repairs required to walls electrical plugs, sink and shower, The introduction is misleading there is no green areas nearby

We went to Rome on vacation to see the city for the first time, the hotel is near a metro station, around 2 blocks away, the area is safe however not very pretty but there is a supermerket near. The breakfast is not appealing because it is not fresh, the fruit was old, the coffee is not fresh and the bread is moist and sticky. Our room smelled like pee, badly! and the carpet was super nasty, the matress was really bad too and when i told the front desk the guy said "ok, i know" but no i am sorry or even cared, the also look very creepy..it is just not a normal hotel :(

The hoter has a walking distance to the coliseo and many intertaiment places. It has helpful personnel and excellent breakfast.

bon emplacement ( près métro, saint jean de latran...), bon petit déjeuner à volonté, rue calme , mais la climatisation promise dans chacune des chambres n'existe pas ( publicité mensongère): les chambres individuelles n'en ont pas, certaines doubles non plu....il faut demander à changer si possible ! ( on nous dit qu'elles sont en panne alors qu'elles n'existent pas )A éviter dans ces conditions en juillet aout

Breakfast assistant unpleasant; Room: No stopper in the sink (asked 3 times, no success); Shower door broken (desk knew); Toilet flush panel missing (desk knew). Shower gel not replaced and used sachets left in the shower. However, these were niggles. We still enjoyed our stay.

The Hotel was nice, the location does require a good bit of walking to reach the sites. The map they provide is not very accurate. The room was warm, but we brought little fans because of previous reviews on different hotels in Italy concerning the air conditioner, so we survived. It was an authentic hotel and surrounding area.

The location of the hotel was great. It was a short walk from the train station to the hotel and to the metro which takes you to most of the major sites. It was also on a very quiet side street with plenty of dining options nearby. Could use some updating, but overall we had a great experience.

Previous hotels were closer to historic district,but were more expensive.
