Best Western Hotel Springhouse

The hotel staff was super friendly and were always willing to assist with providing directions and other information in order for me to get to my destinations in and around Rome. Room was very clean and the breakfast buffet was very good.

Super location. close to the vatican and to the metro. closest stop is the intersection of 'Ottaviano and Giulio Cesare.' A lot of shops and restaurants near the hotel on Giulio Cesare.

Best Worstern Hotel is close to Vatican but not much else. The walls are paper thin and you can clearly hear the radio or TV of the room next to you. The heat in our room would not turn off and had to be 85 F degrees/ 29 C degrees. The outside temperature was 57 F degrees/14 C degrees and the hotel staff said just open the window which was nice if you like road noise. The hotel room safe did not work hotel staff said they would store stuff. The free breakfast was very good with pasteries, juice, bacon, toast etc. Their is a great supermarket next store that is very large. We bought some snacks and water for the room inexpensively. I would not recommend this hotel.

We were fortunate to have a "penthouse", top floor with balcony. The view, not of historical buildings, was substantial and made the room seem much larger. The service was great, ask for [...] in the bar. He can fill you in on everything local.The location, by the Vatican museum, was a bit away from "central" sites, but very easy to find. Also, there is a lot more of Rome on this side of the river.

Walking distance to the Vatican and restaurants. Rooms were extremely clean and freshly painted and the A/C worked really well.

Location near the Vatacan sites, but also close to the Metro. Great value and excellent breakfast. Get a room with a balcony, if possible.

Liked the hotel. Staff were really nice. 5 minutes from the vatican museum. Metro station is about 10 minutes walk. Rooms are clean and have adequate amenities. However we did observe the room can get hot and we had to open the windows. Little restaurants around the hotel are good.

The hotel was clean with a friendly staff. My issues were related to the size of the room and proximity to construction work which no one mentioned at any point. I was very disappointed with the room based on what I paid.

Very helpful, friendly and professional staff, excellent full breakfast, within walking distance to the Vatican, however the two bed room turned out to be one large bed and one cot.
