Brunelleschi Hotel Milan

the area is fine! the hotel does not look clean at all. lousy restaurant- rare thing in Milan to find, staff is not friendly

Located one subway stop or a short 5-1- minuit walk from the Duomo it is a great location. Morning buffet far exceeded expectaions with hot eggs, ham, baccon, cheeses, breads, and sweets! The barista is on hand for your coffee needs and fresh squeezed orange juice was sensational. Staff was helpful and could speak English gave maps and dirctions with ease. I would stay at this hotel again.

It is located very near Duomo but far enough to avoid the noise. However some of the rooms are open to the busy street and could have noise from the traffic. I stay every year here since 2008 and will definately recommend for business travellers or shopping tourists.

Sehr angenehme Lage: einige Minuten vom Dom entfernt. Entgegen der Meinung eines anderen Kunden ist es nicht nur ein "Raucherhotel"; es gibt einige rauchfreie Etagen. Ideal, um Milano kennenzulernen.

Older hotel. Lots of attitude in the staff and residents. Clean and everything worked. Toiletries almost excessive. Quiet and located a block from a metro stop and 2 blocks from the Cathedral and Milan covered Galleria Vittorio EmmanuelMall. Easy walk to the Sforza Castle. We were there for a soccer championship and the game was televised in the Cathedral square. Lots of excitement and a rather rowdy crowd. Make reservations for The Last Supper Tour for a great overview and then move on. We did not find good food in the city center.

Excelent Hotel! It is located very close to Dumo and Galleria. Close to main shopping streets. Staff in the hotel is very good and helpful. Free wifi connection was available in the lobby. The breakfast was excellent.

l'hôtel est situé à quelques minutes à pied du Duomo. Le quartier est calme et propre. Seul bémol : notre chambre donnait sur la rue et était un peu bruyante à cause du passage des voitures. Cependant, j''y reviendrai avec plaisir !!!!! Milan est magnifique aussi pour le shopping que pour ses monuments : La Scala : à voir absolument....

The rooms are okay, nothing special. Gym has a decent running machine. Breakfast is good by European standards. Location is fantastic -- 3 minutes walk to Duomo, 5 minutes walk to main shopping streets.

Initially the hotel seemed lovely - pleasant people at reception and concierge Clean rooms - although mine smelled of smoke as one of the other people have commented. However, the breakfast room is like a motorway service station - skip it and get a coffee outside. Unfortunately as I was leaving to get my plane, I briefly used the restaurant female toilets downstairs. No one was around so I left a jacket, small bag (with a laptop) and hand luggage just outside the cubicle by the washbasin (still in the bathroom) - as I couldn't take it all into the cubicle. I exited a few seconds later to find a male employee in a grey uniform dashing out of the females toilets having been interrupted while trying to steal my stuff. I told the receptionist and she just shrugged. I accept that I took a risk leaving a bag outside the cubicle BUT I was at the hotel and still inside the ladies. And the last thing I expected was a staff member to try and steal something.

Location was the most important thing for selecting the hotel. Everything is wonderful with the hotel and staff. Thank you
