Awesome location
This hotel is in a awesome location. Your stay here will be a good one. I can promise you that! The staff was very helpful. The rooms were very clean and very well maintained. Offseason tip...do not purchase your reservations to the museums through the hotel. Just get to the museum early enough to beat the lines and save the hotels reservation fee. The breakfast here was a very good - the view from the restaurant was just awesome. You will enjoy your stay here. The hotels is a very close walk to the train station. Enjoy, we did.

Can not ask for a better location. The hotel is within walking distance to all sites, and also very close to bus and train station. The room is clean and staff very helpful.

Great location
Hotel centrally located,everything walking distance. staff extemly helpful. Cafe in hotel foyer very good and reasonably prized (better than others in immmient area)also have an upstairs seating area.. Also very near train and bus station. Very good shops near hotel.

Thirty Fifty
First trip to Florence
This may be a biased review because we had one of the best rooms in the hotel. High up and on the back side facing the Medici Chapel dome, it was quiet and had a nice private balcony. During our week long stay, the staff were very helpful and always available. The breakfast on the terrace was great with a nice view of the Duomo and great cappuccino! The large room and bathroom were kept spotless. We also enjoyed having the in-room coffee maker for a pick me up after walking the magnificent city that is Firenze. We highly recommend the Hotel Laurus.

Nous avons pu bénéficier, dans cet hôtel, d'une chambre peut-être aux dimensions un peu limitées,mais au confort impeccable.Propreté, silence, pas de problème majeur. Seuls petits reproches: difficultés pour la réception de chaines TV francophones et le bar de l'hôtel, qui, un soir, était déserté par le personnel! Par ailleurs, situation géographique idéale à 100 m à pieds de la cathédrale et du centre ville. N'importe comment, un hôtel à recommander.

plusieurs restaurants à conseiller à moins de 500 m de l'hôtel, en particulier le MOSACCE ou l'on vous sert des tripes à la florentine et un osso bucco succulents. De plus, le personnel est "typique"!!

“hôtel calme et propre, très bien situé mais réception très distante...”
Situation géographique excellente au coeur de la vieille ville, l'hôtel est très propre, les chambres sont bien insonorisées et le petit déjeuner ou le verre de vin en apéritif pris sur la terrasse du 6e étage avec vue sur le dôme, sont des moments bien agréables...A noter pour les amateurs une dégustation journalière de vins toscans animée par CLAUDIO , professionnel sympathique et passionné : laissez vous guider il vous fera découvrir toute la palette des vins italiens..La perfection n'étant pas de ce monde ,on ne peut pas en dire autant de la réception qui est très (trop?) distante , sans âme...( défaut facilement corrigible) Au final nous recommandons cet hôtel que nous selectionnerons à nouveau lors d'un prochain séjour à FLORENCE .
