Hotell Barchetta Excelsior har ett garage för besökare som anländer med bil. Hotellets läge gör det enkelt att till fots utforska Como och närliggande Bruante. På kvällen kan gäster titta på lokalbefolkningen som njuter av en promenad längs med sjön från den amerikanska baren.

May 2012 Stay
We stayed for two nights. For the price this is a very average to poor hotel. It's very tired. The building is quite ugly in person. Beds not comfortable. We won't come back. Sorry!

The women at the front desk were amazing, the lacation was the best you could hope for, we loved it. We walked everywhere and the boats to cross the lake were just across a beautiful square w/ restaurants and shops. We would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Como. Enjoy and Caio

Long walk from hotel
On Saturdays Como has a open air market by the old wall, ask anyone they know the location. We purchased many things for the folks back home and our selves, but be sure to check labels, look for make in Italy. We had a ball.

Comfortable with great views
This was a two-night stay on route for Tuscany - it proved an ideal base for two days of relaxation. View from room across Lake Como was superb and hotel felt very comfortable and friendly. Parking is at a nearby hotel and easily acccessible. Some good local restaurants, especially for sea-food. Como will look better when current lake-front improvements have been finished - currently a bit of a building site. Even with satnav, finding the route through Como from the motorway was an interesting experience - returning was much easier!

For those who like to lounge in the sun there is a decent lido a fair walk along the lake side - usual facilities and at a reasonable cost.

Lovely location overlooking the
Lovely location overlooking the lake but a very busy area and finding it, even with a sat nav was a nightmare. Parking is then another challenge as this is at a sister hotel and you have to walk your bags back to the Barchetta. Decor is rather dated and the food wsa average - a bit of a dispapointmnt really

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Barchetta Excelsior Como. Its location was excellent and we loved the view of the lake which our room provided. The staff was accommodating and the service could not be outdone. We would recommend this hotel highly to anyone who would be vacationing in the Lake Como region.

Amazing Location
This hotel is the perfect location for siteseeing in Como. Located in the heart of Como - you have all the advantages of the town and the lake transportation. The staff is extremely helpful and the warm hospitatlity makes you feel welcome.

Short walk from hotel
Across from the hotel is the Como Lake transportation hub. But a Turistico ticket for 6 Euro and take a 1 hour tour of the lake on the boat Taxi. It stops at 6 towns in the south end of the lake and you can get off and explore if you want - but the roundtrip ride is a great way to see the sites.
