This is definitely one of the most attractive property in Amalfi , ideal for those ones looking for a unique experience in a mystic , charming and unique atmosphere . The hotel also boast an amazing outdoor swimming pool directly on top of the rocks overlooking the sea . DC10/08 The hotel is an ancient monastery . The cloister , founded by St. Francis of Assisi in 1222, is the very heart of the convent . It is surrounded by cells, now provided with modern comforts and with a view that has no equal . The hotel is located in an outstanding panoramic location right in the city centre . The marina , the beach and all the shops , restaurants and bars are just a short walk away .
