Off the beaten path but still close!
Front desk staff was pleasant. Didn't include those little shampoos/conditioner or blow dryer, so bring your own. Room was comfortable though and good sized. It is a little out of the way of downtown but not bad at all - 10-15min walking distance to the center of town. I would stay again.

Short walk from hotel
My boyfriend loved McDonaughs (spelling?) Great fried fish, chips were not great by my standards, but he also loved the seafood chowder. It's near the bay in the shopping district.

Holiday visit
we had an excellent time in Galway. Our time at the Travelodge was fine. The room was clean although very basic. It was a good choice for us.

Great Place to Stay
We absolutely loved [...] (the hotel manager) and his staff. They were so kind and helpful. The room was in good shape, and the location is perfect for exploring Galway and the Western coast of Ireland. In fact, we were so impressed with Travelodge in Galway that we stayed at the Travelodge in Dublin as well.

Bien situé à seulement 10mn a
Bien situé à seulement 10mn a pied du centre ville.Pas de panneau indicatif ou publicitaire pour le trouver dommage!!!. Acceuil correct personnel serviable si vous voyagez avec des enfants en bas âges Petit dejeuner un peu cher mais possibilité de se rendre aux alentours il y a tout ce qu'il faut.

Basic & Clean
Went for one night to visit family. Staff very friendly. Basic and clean hotel, sufficient for short stay. No shower gel or anything else in bathroom, so take your own. Fresh clean bedding and towels in room. Try their own website, may get it even cheaper there.

Good price, but you get what you pay for
We were on vacation and we were enjoying the bed and breakfast experiences in Ireland...but if that is what you are after you won't find it here. However, This was a fine hotel for staying at if you need a cheap place to stay near the city center.

Lots of walking in Galway!
This hotel was ok. We had been traveling throughout Ireland and England for 10 days and this was the first place we stayed without a pub within or nearby. There was a restaurant but the prices seemed quite high. The walk into town takes 20 minutes or so and then the magic of Galway takes over! We stayed in a room facing the main street and it was very noisy!

Long walk from hotel
We had a delicious seafood dinner at McDonagh's. Also, the Kings Head pub was an interesting place too.
