Flannery's Hotel Galway

Excellent Location, Great facilities. Couldn't of asked for better.

Chose hotel on cost & location for a weekend including connacht rugby match. No complaints exactly as expected. Found the staff to be first class. Good sized comfortable bed & room but the bathroom was very small and one could over hear the conversations in the next room through the vent in the bathroom wall. OK if you like that sort of thing I suppose!!

Nous sommes arrivés à Galway et avons trouvé très facilement, même pas besoin de s'engouffrer en centre ville. Grand parking gratuit, ça commence plutôt bien. Direction l'accueil/réception, en longeant le restaurant d'un côté et le pub de l'autre, et là accueil parfait, chaleureux, un jeune homme souriant, attentionné, qui propose même de mettre au frais mon insuline car la chambre que j'ai réservé ne dispose pas de frigo. Forte impression. Voyons voir ce que donne la chambre maintenant: accès rapide par ascenceur, portes coupe feu et surprise : la même exactement que celle sur la photo, grande, lumineuse, d'une propreté exemplaire, bien agencée et la literie parfaite. Grand lit confortable, salle de bain moderne et chique, produits de toilette, etc... et un coffre fort gratuit avec digicode personnalisable. Le seul "reproche" concerne l'éloignement du centre ville et des rues piétonnes. 3 kms à faire en voiture ou en bus. A pied ça grimpe fort pour revenir. Bonne méthode pour éliminer les effets de la bière. Et la veille de notre départ nous avons découvert un service de navette gratuite mis en place par l'hôtel, via un minibus peint à l'effigie du Flannery's. Bref de loin le meilleur rapport qualité/prix que j'ai rencontré en europe. Et le personnel est exceptionnel. Ils aiment leur boulot et ça se voit. J'y retourne en famille et je recommande chaudement. Et de ma part c'est rarissime. Je précise que le resto et le pub ne sont nullement bruyants. De même, l'hôtel est en retrait de route, donc pas de nuisance sonore.

Pleasant good value small hotel on outskirts of Galway city with good parking and excellent access to the city. Staff extremely helpful.

Excellent hotel if you have a car or don't mind walking 40minutes to town. Not much around.

Standard 3 star accom. Bit outside Galway city so taxi will generally be required to get in and out of city.

stayed for my wife graduation. booked 2 rooms, fascililties are good, room is big and very comfortable. Room 232 is at the end of the building and quite cold despite heater compared to the other room. lovely staff gave us portable heater and solve part of the problem. overall, nice experience and friendly staff. 3 out of 5 stars.

Ideal location for touringConnemara or Clare , also perfect for shopping in the city . Bus stop across the road for those who do not wish to bring a car into the city . Staff were excellent , very friendly and checked that everything was satisfactory . Bar maid ensured I got my coffee just how I wanted it . Room very clean and warm . Good breakfast

Excellent rooms,very good service at breakfast, good food. Hotel a wee bit out of the city but is very walkable and good for a bit of fresh air.

This was a great hotel, the rooms were very clean and the beds were nice. We ate dinner in the bar downstairs, which had a variety of good food. The receptionist when we checked out was very helpful sending us on our way out of Galway.
