The Garden View YWCA Hotel Hong Kong

Sehr angenehmer, unkomplizierter Aufenthalt. Zimmer mit schöner Aussicht, sauber. und man wird in Ruhe gelassen!

Hotel situé à mi-pentes à 20 min à pied de Central Station. Possibilité de laisser ses bagages et de revenir prendre un douche enfin d'AM le jour du départ. A proximité du jardin botanique (et zoologique) dont la visite est agréable non seulement pour les plantes et les animaux ... mais aussi pour les habitués et les enfants des écoles qui le fréquentent. Dommage que le Wifi soit réservé aux utilisateurs du restaurant !

Taxi is really cheap in Hong Kong . Why wasting $400 on a hotel in center. It cost me $5 each ride just to get to anywhere I want in central. Also room is spacious and clean. I'd def stay again.

Don't imagine, because of it's name, that this is a hostel for young women. It's very much a proper hotel. Its situation in the Mid-Levels on Hong Kong Island makes it perfectly placed for all the attractions in the Central District and the Peak. It's right next to the Botanical Gardens, which give it an open feel, and if you have one of the rooms overlooking the gardens you will have a stunning panorama of Hong Kong. The open air swimming pool is a plus, too. Very few hotel rooms in Hong Kong are big, and ours was no exception, but there was certainly room to swing the proverbial cat, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was missable, but with all Hong Kong to choose from, who's worrying?

I stayed here last week. The hotel is in a good location and its easy to find a taxi right outside the front door as taxis frequently drive by. At check in I wasnt able to get a room key made yet which was weird. They called housekeeping to open up the room until I could get a key made an hour later. But you need the room key in order for the lights and tv to work because you slide it in a slot on the wall. So I had to take a shower in the dark Lol. Later I was able to get a key. There's still no WiFi in the rooms but its free in the restaurant in the lobby which worked pretty well. The bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned daily. The staff was nice and professional. The restaurant was also tasty and the wait staff was super helpful. All together it was a pretty solid choice.

There was no free wifi. Need to pay HK$100 per day to be used in the lobby only- will not even reach your hotel room. The breakfast in the hotel is not that good also. But there is a good supermarket just around the corner that we wished we have known on the first day :(

We found the location perfect with lovely views over the Zoological Gardens. Supermarket closeby. Staff welcoming and obliging.Bus to Central outside the door.

Very nice and comfortable stay. Great food just down the block. Perfect for a quick stay-over

Close to Zoological Parc. 10 minute walking to midll escalator close to peak tramway quiet nice view from the room on the zoological park

All was fine but the food arrangements should have been explained more before I arrived. The room itself was very very good.
