Schiphol A4 Hotel Amsterdam

I spent 3 nights at this hotel and it was amazing can't fault the hotel and the services. Although some guests were very loud and noisy during the night and early morning whilst u trying to sleep. Think family rooms need to be sound proof...too many kids crying during my stay. But aside that its great. I would definitely stay there again.

Not every room has a balcony, but many do and my single room did - not all balconies were private, but mine was. Smallish room, but it didn't matter because one whole wall was windows and glass door to the balcony, which looked out over the Dutch farmland with (modern) windmills on the horizon. The room was very clean and the bathroom was close to new. The reservation operator said every room had a tub, but mine had only a shower stall which was a small disappointment. Facility is large with a cozy bar and the breakfast buffet in the restaurant is extensive - a bit pricey, but worth it if you like large meals. Staff was perfectly courteous and professional. Room was a long walk from the entrance (and as others have said, confusing to find) but that was a small price to pay for a very good value in a single room - only $60. per night. The other price was time to the airport - a good 15 minutes on the hotel shuttle, which runs only every 40 minutes. Overall I had a great time here and felt lucky to get the room at this price.

Hotel was very nice and comfortable but too far out from city centre. Good that shuttle bus was available but limited your evening time in Amsterdam city centre.

Very nice hotel. Bathroom very spacious but had no towel holders, and dangerously hot water. It is definitely a business hotel and was not very "user friendly". There weren't many perks around to make the customer feel welcome--not even a free cup of coffee. Restaurant very nice, upscale, and expensive. The free shuttle to airport a great plus.

Hotel was perfect by far. However with the taxi's being so exspensive costing roughly 70 euros to get to dam square. The location is not really good if you look to go into the town daily. Its located on a sort of motorway services. They do offer a free shuttle bus to and from the airport/train station untill midnight and continuing at 620. During the times they dnt run you can call the hotel for a shuttle with a 20euro charge. Train costs 4 euros into town. But we found after a night out it was taking 2 n half hrs to get back to the hotel :(

Nous avions pris une chambre familiale pour 3 personnes, l'espace était très confortable et convenablement equipé. Le meilleur du séjour: le petit-déjeuner, vraiment à ne pas rater. Petit bémol: la clim à 18C à notre arrivée.

Hotel shuttle runs every 40 minutes allowing back and forth to airport and train to City Center. Was comfortable staying there as a solo female traveler.

Rooms are average but the breakfast makes up for this ten fold. Fantastic selection! Wonderful shuttle services included in the price. Thank you for a great stay!

Staff (reception) are not friendly (somewhat rude). Restaurant staff are nice and friendly Room is average and have "smoke" smells.

Breakfast is incredible and should be offered as an option. Bus service to and from airport is superb. Five-star food at three-star cost. This is by far the best choice near the airport.
