Quiet, Convienent Boutique Hotel Experience
Park Plaza Vondelpark is located in a high-end, quiet neighborhood, and thus very quiet. Very close to the Emmastraat stop on Tram 2 which makes getting around the city very convenient. Really nice views - my room had a lovely view of Vondelpark. The room was also much larger than it looks online - a nice surprise. Great water pressure in the shower. Free wi-fi included, and I was provided with a personalized log-in at check in. Staff was attentive and friendly; I was really impressed by the personal note I received from the hotel manager during my stay. A wonderful touch! I would definitely recommend the Park Plaza Vondelpark to friends and family - and I would stay there again!

If you're planning to explore the city, purchase a Tram pass that's good for a set number of days (rather than paying per-trip). A 7-day unlimited pass was only 31 Euros - well worth the price and made getting around super convenient.

our first room was in the basement with dirty carpet and the shower/bathroom set up in a corner of the room..simply awful. they moved us to a better room after we complained. limited cable/ t.v. channels.only news channels. no movies.sould be allot better

Wonderful hotel and service.
Second time at this hotel. Love the experience, a little long walk to everything but beautiful view. Feel safe in the neighborhood, especially with police station a block away.

Nice neighborhood with some quaint cafes
We were touring Amsterdam and took advantage of all opportunities.Hotel had internet in lobby. It would have been nice to get breakfast included so we didn't have to spend so much time and money dealing with breakfast. This hotel was average to most we've stayed at.

A really nice little hotel in
A really nice little hotel in a fantastically quiet area of Amsterdam, within a stones throw off Vondelpark. We were lucky enough to be in a room just above reception and therefore the free wi-fi worked in the room as well. Fantastic power shower and comfortable beds. We didnt have breakfast so cant comment. Staff were very friendly. If we go to Amsterdam again, the Park Plaza will be our hotel of choice.

Honeymooner
A Little Out of the Way, But Nice Enough
We were looking for something a little quieter, expecting Amsterdam to be a loud party city with noisy hotels. However, this didn't seem to be the case from walking around the city and other hotels. We opted to stay near the museum district, thinking that it would be quieter. It was quiet, but the hotel was a little out of the way. The hotel rooms were clean, the staff was fairly friendly, and they also had free internet, which was nice. Overall, the hotel was nice enough and got the job done. The hotel description mentions that "breakfast is available," however not free. It was overpriced at 17 Euros per person.

Long walk from hotel
The walk to any form of entertainment, while not intolerable, was a bit long. If you don't want to walk for about 45 minutes to the city center, buy a rail pass.

The room was small and breakfast
The room was small and breakfast is apparently not included with [website] bookings so be careful!! It is €17.50 otherwise. Super friendly and helpful staff. 10min tram ride to entertainment areas in a lovely location which has some nice restaurants away from the hustle and bustle.
