Sheraton Paris Airport Hotel & Conference Centre

Everything was very nice except: 1. Missing complimentary bottle of water. 2. Free wifi only in the lobby?! 3. Dim lighting in the room. 4. Only one English TV channel, CNN. BBC was a blue screen:( The bathroom was fairly luxurious, which is for what I hoped because I brought along a few "spa" treatments for myself after a long week of traveling and sightseeing. The hotel really should make wifi available in all rooms in this day and age and just include that price within the room price! Even my rinky-dink hotel in Sarlat (Dordogne) had free wifi in the room.

For 400-500 USD, I expect better. two people in one room should get two bath towels. The lounge needs a dress code to control people showing up in what can only be their pyjamas..not pretty. biz casual would be nice.

The hotel is right above the RER train station in Paris Charles de Gaulle airport Terminal 2. Fast check in, then an excellent dinner in the hotel restaurant. Free internet and comfortable chairs in the hotel lobby. Completely quiet room, perfect pillow, pleasant blanket. The bath room has separate shower and bath tub. I had an early flight and yet a stress-free morning. My main alternative is to stay down-town Paris and then take the RER train to the airport early in the morning. I like both alternatives!

- Porter was awol, and we had a lot of luggage - Wi-Fi is not free (!!!) and even though the first hour should have been we were charged $10 anyway - The toilet leaked all through the night. - The shower could not stay on one setting going from cold to hot and back without any reason. - Shower curtain was too short so the bathroom was flooded. - The server at the restaurant was abrupt- almost unpleasant, as he acted as if we were wasting his time. He also spilled my beer on the table, proffered no apology, and failed to wipe up. This is my 5th stay and I question whether there will be another

The reason to stay here is that you just walk out the door in the morning to your flight. No worries about hotel shuttles or taxis. You can even check your flight status and print your boarding pass in the lobby. That compensates for the expense. Room was small but nicely furnished. Staff was pleasant.

GREAT location, with easy access to subways into Paris proper, not to mention great terminal access without having to get onto a shuttle. Walk out the door and there you are...The rooms are nicely appointed, feel and look is modern contemporary. Very quiet as well. Pay for wi-fi. One bummer though, friends we were traveling with booked through Hotels dot com and got breakfast included.

The carpet in the room was filthy, but everything else was clean even if a bit run-down. If you only want coffee or something small for breakfast DO NOT go to the hotel restaurant or you will be charged for the full buffet - 39 Euros. This was not made clear to me and the receptionist could not have cared any less. The location of the hotel is great, but not really worth the room rate.

Easy access to terminals by tram.took only 10min.hotel rooms clean (rug stained needs cleaning)and comfortable,very modern.staff was friendly. Restaurant/bar was dirty and expensive food just fair and bar tender was distracted to say the least.but we were not there for gourmet delight just snack before turning in for morning flight. On a whole, filled our needs would go back but only after meal in Paris first!

Position wonderful, right at airport, facilities up to the mark, value poor-ish but memorable for staff attitudes which range from the coldly authoritarian to the downright hostile.

While the hotel is a clear winner for international travel convenience, the prices make it very very close to NOT worth staying there. Not only are room rates exorbitant, but they CHARGED us to park our soon-to-be-dropped-off rental car outside while we checked in, then charged for internet, then charged to get my bandwidth high enough to even be able to download my files; I do not think I could reco this for "regular" people other than for biz travelers on expense accts where companies do not care what is spent. I felt gouged.
