The ibis Paris Montmartre hotel is located in the heart of Paris, at the foot of the Sacré Coeur and 219 yards (200 m) from the Moulin Rouge. A 10-minute direct metro ride will take you from the hotel to the Champs-Elysées, the Gare du Nord/Est/Saint Lazare train stations, and the main department stores. The Eiffel Tower and the Stade de France are a 15 minute metro ride away. The hotel offers 326 air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, the Rendez-vous bar, 24-hr snack service and public car park (paying).

Small rooms

Hotel location was acceptable, not great. Lobby and personal was good, but the rooms are tiny, very small for families (more than 2 people). Wifi was available and work pretty ok, not great speed but ok. Not a bad hotel, and it had one of the best prices at the time, but i would probably look for another option if i go again to Paris

Paris in June

Very helpful and friendly staff that know the area well. Most staff spoke excellent english which helps as know little French. Walking distance to Sacre Coeur, Moulin Rouge, Metro and some great dining. Lots of back streets with small French restaurants, cafes, bars, Deli's, bakery's etc. Favorite streets were Rue des Abbesses and Rue Lepic, both close by. Very easy to get around Paris with Metro 2 minutes from hotel. Small convenience store accross the road. If you are looking for a hotel to sleep and shower in between exploring the city this is good. Good clean functional small rooms at reasonable price. It is also close to the strip clubs of Paris. Not particularly what we were after but we just avoided that 'strip' so to speak. Would have liked a mini bar in the room but it is an Ibis.
