Great Hotel, Just Bland Area!
The Pullman Paris Montparnasse is a wonderfully clean, newer, and larger hotel for Paris. The staff are courteous and professional. It was definitely the perfect hotel for a party of 3 family members in one room. Hard to find in Paris. The rooms were clean and super comfortable. There was also the great upside of the city view and the close proximity to the train station and metro, so Versailles was just a hop, skip, jump away. The downside is that the area of Montparnasse is a bit bland or boring. It is not your bubbling and quaint Saint Germain des Pres or Rue Cler area, that's for sure, but it is a pretty excellent hotel and I would highly recommend it.

Short walk from hotel
I would highly recommend walking to the Galeries Lafayette that is only about 5-10 minutes away from the hotel. You can acquire a fantastic 10% coupon from the Pullman Paris Montparnasse to use at the Galeries Lafayette.

There is nothing to do at a walking distance. We were very disapointed. I would had rather pay more for a hotel in a better location.

The experiance was....ok!
The room was clean, service decent, breakfast very nice (my wife is still talking about the eggs). My only complaint would be the distance from just about anything was a $10euro ride.

DO NOT BUY THE GRAY LINE DINNER CRUISE!!! They they ripped me off! You are suppose to call them then you get to Paris When you call the number all you get is a breif recorded message in french that promtly hangs up on you. To compound the issue the address isn't printed your voucher. So I'm out the money, and they have done nothing to refund me!

Great location and decently good hotel
The room was very big and clean. The furniture looked a little worn. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants in the area where you can get good value for money. The train station for the metro and regional trains is across the street.

First time Paris visitor
Good hotel for familes at a great price
This is a good hotel for families seeking value in an expensive city. It is not easy to find a good hotel in Paris that will accomodate a family with kids in one room. Many hotels will either suggest that you book 2 rooms or book a suite at a higher rate. At this hotel, we were to able to book a room with 2 queen beds that allowed our young kids to stay with us in the same room. The price was very reasonable as well. The hotel is located across the street from the metro which made travelling to the various tourist attractions relatively simple. The staff was very friendly and exceptionally helpful.

Disappointed - ugly, small, old rooms
The hotel lobby is very nice, but the room was small, and ugly. I paid $360 a night, and my view was to the cemetery. The hotel was very clean, the staff was alright- nothing amazing. There was no variety in the breakfast bar. Also be advised that the metro station is in front of the hotel but very confusing- do not tack the train if you have more than one bag!!!! there are no elevators and it was awful to find the hotel.
