L'Empire Paris

Plus side: Excellent location, extremely close to the Museum de Louvre, Saint Chapelle, Notre Dame and much much more. Excellent shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance. Hotel was modern, boutique style, room was clean and the ensuite was minimal but shower pressure was extremely good and complimentary toiletries were available, which we didn't try. Negative: The size of the room was as big as a postage stamp, the reception area was bigger...shocking considering how much we paid per night but obviously paid for the location rather than room size.

C'est la quatrième fois que je séjourne dans cet hôtel. C est la première fois que je suis aussi déçu... Le réveil demandé n a pas été exécuté (heureusement que nous avions pris nos disposition) ; la chambre, parfaitement tenue, n avait pas de fenêtre pouvant s ouvrir (102) ; le petit déjeuner m a été facturé... 25 EUR... Bref ce fut tres moyen... L equipe du soir a été cependant tres aimable et serviable.

Un véhicule avec voiturier entre hôtel et gare RER par exemple serait le bien venu. Bonne prestation encore cette fois ci dans l ensemble. Bon emplacement avec station LOUVRE RIVOLI a deux pas. Un peu deçu de la propreté de la chambre mais cela reste extrêmement correct. Petit déjeuner bien. Personnel très accueillant. Parquet au sol très agréable.

There were bed bugs and we got bit by mosquitos every night in the room. We killed about 6 mosquitos a night and they kept coming back. Also, at night we could here people walking above us. On the upside, the location was terrific.

This hotel looked great online, and looked just as nice when we arrived. We had to wait until 5pm for check-in (despite the fact that check-in was listed as 12PM). Even at 5pm, there seemed to be a problem with the readiness of our room. After waiting for a few more minutes, we were finally shown to our room. The room and bathroom were very nice, but we learned later that the bed and pillow are terribly uncomfortable, and the room never seemed to get cool (even with the AC on the lowest setting). Further, there was incredibly lound noise on our first night (loud music and talking coming from somewhere) and the hotel had a "so what" attitude when we asked about it the next morning. Then, there were no clocks in the room and the staff was 20 minutes off with our wake-up calls on each morning (we almost missed a tour because they woke us up 20 minutes late). Finally, we stayed 4 nights and they never replaced any of the amenities, even after we had used them. While I was not expecting the Four Seasons with this hotel choice, I was expecting something more comfortable from this boutique hotel.

モダンで落ち着いた雰囲気のきれいなホテルでした。 お部屋もバスルームもバスタブも広く(同じような立地の同じようなクラスのホテルと比べても)満足でした。 ただ・・・部屋にもロビーにも 「蚊｣がたくさんいたのが残念です。

Un service voiturier ou un veh de service serait apprécié pour nous convoyer a la gare RER la plus proche au moins pour les départ et/ou arrivée sur demande. Personnel tres avenant et tres aimable. PArquet au sol tres apprécié. Déco soignée. Le gsm ne passe pas dans toutes les chambres.
