basic room but clean and honest price considering the location (the best for Paris: metro and RER at 20 m from the Hotel, all the main actractives really close to it). WiFi is always working well and free!

Hotel admirablement situé pour celui qui aime les Halles. A proximité du métro et pas très loin du Louvre. Les chambres sont propres mais peut être un peu petites mais on n'a pas testé les suites ! Je pense que j'y retournerai la prochaine fois que je viendrai à Paris. Bon rapport qualité prix et emplacement parfait.

Location great, half block from Seine,lots of shops ,restaurants, metro & 2 min walk to rer to CDG airport. Charming breakfast room with sitting room to read papers etc, good quality breakfast ( not included) but free wireless internet. Rooms were new, new bathroom, very comfortable bed, fine linen, air con & very quiet, plasma tv on wall, small lift. Staff polite & helpful. Only downside is quite dirty in streets, but to be expected in a takeaway, fast food area. Would reccommend.

The hotel was a disappointment in most respects; value, amenities, room size, and comfort. My first indication that all was not as expected was the elevator which would only fit two adults with NO luggage. We shuttled upstairs and down the narrow hallway to our incredibly tiny room. The furniture consisted of a narrow writing table at the foot of the bed, leaving barely enough room to squeeze through sideways, and two mineature bed side tables approximately 10 square, all made from pressboard. The bed was not actually a king size bed but two twin size beds side by side with one set of king sized sheets. There was no attempt to smooth over the resulting center seam. And as comfortable as it sounds. The courtyard outside the hotel was a major party gathering place and was thronged with people until past 1:00 a.m. both nights we stayed. We were not at all pleased with this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located just steps away from the subway station. Setting was exactly what you picture Paris to be like - in the early 1900's - not much has changed! (Actually very romantic.) The room was very tiny, but clean and freshly painted, new drapes. Recently remodeled in keeping with the setting. Hotel staff were very pleasant and willing to speak English the best they could. Plenty of restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance.
