Hotel Prince Monceau

Very nice staff but the room was very small and there was no AC (although they were installing them during our stay). Very good price but not one of those hotels you can go back to chill at. Sleeping only.

Ok - so for what we paid we shouldn't have expected much, especially as it is only 2* in Paris. We were happy to compromise on location (which is nowhere near a metro but if you can find it the 31 bus stops on Pont Cardinet which is close by). About a 40min walk to Arc de Triumphe that was doable but... rooms are insanely small; we and most of the hotel had holes in the ceiling with wires hanging out (one of our holes went through to the landing so not only did it feel like everyone passiong by was actually in our room, but all night the kept flicking on as people walked past!) No air con apparently some of the sticking out wires were for that but in Paris, in August, in a small room with no air-flow and 22* outside - GREAT! Breakfast was absolutely disgusting - perhaps expected too much as we were in Paris but I have never had such a disgusting cup of coffee in my life and the rest was bland and stale - so not worth the 10 euros they charged us each! Generally the hotel staff were curt, definately no happy smiley customer service - they must ahve it tough as I imagine people complain a lot their but service with a smile never hurt anyone! Last bnut not least teh tiny bathroom which somehow crammed all the essentials in but I would highly recommend getting a bath in Paris after walking all that way (and I won't mention the disgusting toilet brush that honestly made me feel sick every time I went in there!). Such a shame as Paris itself was amazing and despite the hotel (perhaps because of it as we didn't want to spend any time there!) we had a fantastic holiday! - but next time we will definately look elsewhere for accomodation!

un accueil de premier ordre, qui donne le sourire. serviable, conseil, sourire, chaleureux. pas de petit dejeuner à l'anglaise, mais salle sympas et pas cher 6€. chambre: petite, peut etre pas de chance, mais 2 ampoules grillées un inter defectueux, un kleenex sale dans le lit, eau chaude eau froide inversée, pas d'ascenseur, telecommande télé sans cache pile... loin du metro mais pres du bus bon coté: bonne literie

Un beau petit hotel, très calme et agréable avec un bon accueil et un personnel qui trouve les solutions si problème. La salle de bain reste vraiment à revoir en qualité de commodité et de finition et le prix normal d'une chambre semble excessif.

le terminal CB ne fonctionnant pas (hum hum!), les toilettes sous le lavabo, le bac à douche mal nettoyé...un accueil déplorable! matelas bon et tv correct et bonne reception! Nous sommes bien à Paris!

enchantee chambre propre et agreable par rapport a d autres hotels dans ce quartier, satisfaite de la qualite prix je remercie particulierement la personne a l accueil qui a su apporter une solution au manque de telephone. d etre coorectement recue a embelli mon sejour parisien, merci encore et continuer ainsi j ai appreciee
