Hotel Sofitel Lyon Bellecour offers a well equipped meeting rooms to perform events. Gift shops and beauty salons are there inside the hotel compound. Touroparc amusement park is located within a short drive from the property. Vieux Lyon is also a tourist area situated in 2 kilometres.

The hotel is very modern and upscale.The staff is very friendly, helpful, on point, and available 24hrs. The restaurant is very pricey so we walked around the corner to a street of restaurants instead. The view from the hotel restaurant upstairs was beautiful. The view of the river from our room was great. The room had a safe that only uses credit cards to open and close but it did not work. The light on the desk did not work and made it difficult to work on our laptop and papers. Laundry service is very expensive. The maids come in twice a day and everything smells of heavy bleach. We did not know there was room service until we were on our way out, no one ever left a menu in our room. The hotel definitely has a five star appeal, the room was 4 star, and the overbleached linens and overbearing maids made us homesick. The location was great.

Short walk from hotel
There was a street around the corner on the square filled with many great little restaurants. Also we realized we did not need a rental car because everything was in walking distance which was great because parking at the hotel is about $30/night!

普通のサイズの部屋を予約していたのですが，今日はお客さまに感謝する特別の日だから（私のヒアリング能力ではそう聞こえました）と，ジュニアスイートにアップグレードしてくれました。１人で泊まるのがもったいないくらいの部屋でした。 ４泊したのですが，掃除は行きとどき，アメニティーグッズはすべてエルメス。最上階には，ミシェランのガイドブックに載っているレストランがありますが，そこで食べた朝ごはんは，今でも忘れられないほどおいしかったです。 ４回，朝食を食べましたが，全然あきることはありませんでした。また レストランからはローヌ川の，息をのむほど美しい眺めを楽しむことができます。 朝食なのに，白い立派なテーブルクロスが二重に掛けられていて，お客さんが帰るたびに，上に掛けられたテーブルクロスを，毎回，取り替えていました。さすが，（アメリカ）元大統領が泊まったことのあるホテルと深く納得。 また，嬉しかったのは，どのスタッフも，フランス語ができない日本人の私にとても親切だったこと。分かりやすい，そして上品な英語で，とてもフレンドリーに対応してくれました。 リヨンに，また行く機会があったら，絶対に，また泊まりたいです！！

a lovely hotel in a reat location. Two streets from main square where hop on hop of bus and tourist information centre is located. beautiful restauarnt on top floor where breakfast is served daily with superb views over lyon and the river. Would certaily stay here again.

très bel hôtel mais c'est normal
très bel hôtel mais c'est normal pour cette catégorie d'établissement , literie de grande qualité. Demandé avec vue sur le Rhône parce que sinon les autres vue ne sont pas terribles. Restaurant et bar pas testé cause fermeture le dimanche soir mais je vous conseille d'aller manger dans une brasserie de Paul Bocuse qui est a deux pas de l'hôtel 3 " Le Sud "
