Mercure très cher
Situé dans un quartier moderne et sans âme, l'hôtel se trouve à deux pas d'un centre commercial. Chambre assez bruyante mais confortable. Capsules nespresso : un plus.

Not the Mercure standard!
I wouldn't like to recommend this hotel at all. Disqualified staff and not cleaned room. If you are expecting and thinking of 'Mercure' level hotel, this hotel won't be that one! You'd better to book other Mercure in Bordeaux.

Wat een rotbedden!
De ligging van het hotel is geweldig: op loopafstand van alles wat je zou willen zien. De kamer was oké: fris en schoon, maar de bedden... Wéér die ellendige binnenvering! Wanneer worden er nu eens HARDE schuimrubbermatrassen in hotels gebruikt? Ik heb geen oog dicht gedaan (eerste nacht), en daarna gewoon op de grond geslapen (tweede en derde nacht). Het personeel lachte minzaam, maar was niet bereid me tegemmoet te komen. Niet met een ander matras, én niet financieel. Jammer.

The hotel location is convenient
The hotel is convenient to tour the city monuments and historic area.But the air circlation in the hotel is not that good, you could smell something when you step in the elevator and the hallway of the floor.

Great location
Excellent location. Walking distance to several sites and Tram is only a blcok away. The hotel is nice, clean and employees friendly. Fast check in and out. Only draw back... only one elevator working. Would recommended to anyone going to visit the city.

Long walk from hotel
Check open times for museums or tours if you go for a couple of days. for example the Grand Theater only has tours wednesdays and saturdays

Good Value, Close to Everything
The hotel is about a kilometer from the center of Bordeaux, but just a couple of blocks away from Place Gambetta and all it's great restaurants

very friendly to solo trqveler
The Mercure is a very spacious hotel. The breakfast bar included a wide assortment of pastries and breads, along with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, fresh fruit, yogurt, and cheese! The eggs were an especially welcome treat! In my 20 years of traveling in Europe I have seldom been served eggs for breakfast! The room was tastefully decorated with lots of room to walk around and stretch. The bathroom was also quite spacious, with plenty of room on the sink for feminine accoutrements. Closet space, additional pillows and blankets, soundproof walls and windows, all contributed to the very fine experience I had over my 6 day stay. The only drawback to the hotel is that there are few restaurants in the immediate vicinity. However, there are many within a short walking distance, and there is a large grocery store Auchon located in the indoor mall across the street.

Short walk from hotel
In the nearby pedestrian zone there is a lovely tea and chocolate cafe which serves heavenly hot chocolate, the thick creamy kind you need a spoon to eat.
