Interesting design of the room, but strange at the same time - U have no separate showers bathroom - its the same space as for the bed, half divided glass. So, other person, sleeping on the bed, hears loud noise of the falling water. And room was cold.

Wir haben uns in dem Hotel wohl gefühlt . Seine zentrale Lage im Zentrum und zu den Verkehrsmitteln ist exelent.

Das Hotel liegt sehr gut, zentral, mitten im Zentrum von Helsinki. Es ist ein guter Ausgangsort für Sight-Seeing und Shopping. Leider war die Sauberkeit nicht zufriedenstellend, ich musste mein Klo vor der Benützung selber nachreinigen und der Zahnbecher war noch schmutzig vom Vorgänger. Auch ist die Heizung sehr schlecht, ich habe 4 Tage lang gefroren, musste mit Wollsocken schlafen gehen. Zum Glück hatte ich ein Doppelzimmer zur Einzelbenutzung gebucht, so konnte ich wenigstens die zweite Decke noch in Anspruch nehmen. Das Bad ist überhaupt nicht gezeizt und die Beleuchtung in Zimmer und Bad ist mehr als schlecht. Das Personal ist bemüht, aber leider nicht immer kompetent.

I enjoyed my stay at Glo Hotel. I was looking for a stylish, convenient place and this is it. Standard Room was on small side. I would recommend getting the Superior or Deluxe.

Hotel Glo is just about perfect: absolutely the best location, trendy but functional finnish design, supercomfortable beds, friendly and efficient staff, great breakfast (mainly organic, top level produce with a great selection of options but not too many to make it hard to choose). It is a modern sophisticated place, with a bar/cafe in place of the traditional lobby. We booked the basic rooms at a great price given that breakfast was included. The spa was not included at these rates, (extra fee 20 euro) as i travelled with my parents who were not going to use these facilities, but it is included with higher level rooms, so if you are likely to use the beautiful spa/sauna (which is shared with the Hotel Kamp next door) it may be cost effective booking the more expensive rooms. I have previously stayed at a number of hotels in Helsinki (including the beautiful but very traditional Kamp next door) but the Glo is my favourite.

We chose "Deluxe room" for a night. The room was exellent, brilliant service and location in the middle of Helsinki. What more do we expect?

Excellent location and sister hotel to the Kamp. Directly next door. Good value.

very tasty decoration of the room with modern furniture and appliances. Our room was spacious and quiet. Located few steps from Esplanade. Breakfast graet with choices of buffet staples. Only minus (for me not for my wife) was that too soft bed and pillows. And in bath water was leaking from first to last day of our stay.
