Now Larimar Punta Cana- Unlimited Luxury

I went on this trip with my husband and our two daughters and it was amazing. Our room was one of the garden view, it was right by the pool, it had a balcony and we had a jacuzzi in the balcony. The food was good even tho most of the time we ordered room service, our daughters are both under 3 years old so it was easier for us to do it that way. There is only one restaurant by the garden view rooms but there is always somebody by the front in a golf cart ready to take you anywhere in the resort. We received excellent service from everyone, except from one of the managers at the vacation club who was a little arrogant with us. We loved this place so much that we are already planning out next year's vacation over there too, I already started to check prices. The only thing that we didn't like about the resort is the lack of a restaurant that serves Dominican food, they have Dominican nights on Wednesday so if you're staying there any other day of the week you won't have a taste of our delicious Dominican food, they have 7 restaurants that serve foods from different ethnicities so I don't understand why they don't have one that serves traditional Dominican food or at least have it available for room service. But overall, the trip was amazing

Bel hôtel, jolie piscine, grande plage, nombreux restaurants, cuisine correcte, personnel serviable, prix accessible, mais rien d'original, rien d'exceptionnel, que du bien banal et sans intérêt. Cet hôtel a bien des qualités, mais aussi d'innombrables défauts. Lorsque l'on traverse l'atlantique ou vient de loin, pourquoi se contenter d'un hôtel comme celui là, comme il en existe partout dans le monde et nécessairement bien plus près de chez vous. L'avion coute cher, alors le séjour doit être à la hauteur de cet investissement et de la beauté de Punta Cana. Ici, il ne le sera pas. Les noms des types de chambres sont trompeurs. Ils ne correspondent absolument pas à la vue : - "Garden view" : bâtiments neufs très en arrière (vue sur jardin ou piscine de ce petit hôtel arrière plus calme, réservé en principe au courts séjours et aux personnels des compagnies aériennes), zone apparaissant en travaux sur l'image satellite proche du "NH Punta Cana" (rien à voir avec l'hôtel "Secret" de la même chaine, situé à côté). - "Tropical view", "Océan view" ou "Pool view" : bâtiments anciens entre plage et lobby (vue passage, jardin, mer ou piscine), correspondant sur l'image satellite aux 2 barres de part et d'autre de la piscine, la partie côté plage étant nommée "Preferred Club". Attention, de nombreuses chambres ont une salle de bains totalement ouverte sur la chambre, avec de simples portes vitrées pour la cabine de douche et pour les WC. Ces chambres sont pourtant attribuées sans aucun discernement selon les occupants ou avertissement préalable auprès du client

Pros: Room was clean, food was good (although could have been kept warmer at buffet) Lobby bar made good drinks, staff was friendly, hardly anyone bothering you when you are on the beach, beach is clean Cons: Bed was really hard, drinks were always melted and not very good (other than at Lobby bar), drink service is slow, at the Mexican Restaurant it took them over 20 minutes to take our order and then over an hour to get us our food, our fridge was not stocked every day as promised, there was no DVD player in room as the website says

The resort was great with a gorgeous beach and and friendly atmosphere. The size of the facility perfect for a destination wedding and everyone had a good time. Rooms were well appointed, comfortable and clean. Child friendly location.

Travelled over the Christmas break - family of four (2 adults, 2 children under the age of 6). PROS: excellent service at bars / restaurants etc.. food was pretty good - as usual, some restaurants were better than others but we enjoyed not making reservations at the a la carte restaurants and also having the option of buffet -beautiful grounds / pools -family friendly -LOVED the square outside of the main building, beautiful music in the early evening / stage for the kids to dance on CONS: -no clock in room as advertised (we stayed in the garden section) -inconsistent housekeeping service - missed turn down service 4/7 days -most of the hosws were poor in quality -rooms are too small

Food and drink options and quality were below average. Pool and beach were both nice and staff was very pleasant and helpful. Garden view rooms are located away from main complex and had semi-private bathrooms.

Just got back from my trip to the now. Im still sick to my stomach. The food is so bad everyone was getting sick. They sell pepto bismol in the shop for 10$ and they sell around 12 bottles a DAY . Just walking around the resort you will over hear people talking about how sick someone is in their party. The maid service was terrible also. They didnt come one day and we even called 3 times for toilet paper and towels. Also are toilet leaked and they said they fixed it but really did nothing. Ok now the good . The resort is beautiful And the beech was great. I would not recomend tho

My wife and I had a blast here on our honeymoon. We hadn't been to an all-inclusive before so we don't have anything to compare it to. Regardless, we felt the service was top-notch and the daily activities were great for people wanting to be involved. if not, the beach and pools were great for R&R. One thing we weren't too fond of was the barrage of people trying to sign us up for excursions, but it seemed to slow down towards the end of our stay. Nonetheless, we would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great value to an all-inclusive.

Beautiful and huge hotel! Perfect weather! Only 15 minutes from the airport! Only cons I wish I knew: dress codes are strict at restuarants, many employees aren't fluent in English, most of the food doesnt have much flavor.
