Iberostar Costa Dorada All Inclusive

Iberostar Costa Dorada gave us the most perfect vacation. Stuff to do for all, even though it was just me and my boyfriend who are 24. The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are stunning. Flamingo's, turtles, birds, peacocks, rest on the grounds. Also they have entertainment every night both in the pool plus on stage. There is a lounge right in the lobby, and also a small casino 1 min walk away where you can either play in pesos or US dollars. We did the damajagua & atv excursions and booked on the beach which come out to be much cheaper than when booked in the hotel plus it's the same companies. We found the people very trustworthy and were never fearful or uncomfortable being off the hotel grounds. Be sure to do the DAMAJAGUA (water fall excursion.) It's my number on reccomendation. Food was great, staff was great, hotel was great, great, great, great. Can't wait to go back!

The perfect place for complete relaxation. The resort is so wide open, you will never feel crowded. There are plenty of places to relax and enjoy the beautiful view and grounds of the hotel. There are so many options with the food, it caters to all types. The staff is very friendly and they work hard. Overall a terrific getaway!

The complex is very nice.A lot to do:games,spanish lessons,evening entertainments,a lot a food,drinks. Wireless services only in the lobby ($ 5 for 30 min.) Night time disco....

First off I will say this hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The grounds were so well maintained and the staff was so nice (everyone always seemed to be in such a good mood!). This was my first stay at an all inclusive place, and I really didn't know what to expect. The buffet food was really good (DO NOT miss Dominican night at the big buffet). The Brazilian restaurant was very tasty. The Mexican restaurant was pretty good. We didn't have a chance to try the other a la carte restaurant. The drinks were always strong and the beer was always cold. Kayaking in the ocean was a lot of fun. There were always plenty of poolside/beach chairs to pick from in either the sun or the shade. I will definitely recommend this hotel to other people. My only mistake was that I was only here for 4 nights. Many people stay here for over a week, 2 weeks or more. There were a lot of European travelers here too. Everyone speaks English (most of everything was spoken in English, Spanish, German and French). One thing to bring would be an alarm clock since there wasn't one in the room and I didn't want to use my phone for it. The room we had faced toward the ocean (slightly obstructed by the trees), and all the rooms have private balconies. Just a gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous property!

Fun activities at the hotel and always something to do. Liked the location on the island. I would recommend the "27 Waterfalls" and Oceanworld excursions.

The best hotel experience I have ever had.

This location was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon! We loved every minute of it. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Brush up on your Spanish. The front desk staff's English was very good though. The food was very good and fresh. The drink flowed freely and were always delicious. The beach and pool were clean and gorgeous. In September, the chairs were ample and available. The room was clean and way more than I would expect in the Caribbean. The spa was fantastic and the perfect start of relaxation for our honeymoon. We loved everything and are planning a return trip with friends and family.

Friendly staff. Good food. Very nice beach and pool area. Clean room. Great shows in the theater every night. I will return to Iberostar Costa Dorada.

The Costa Dorada Hotel is a little older but dont let this fool you. The Hotel is well maintained and in an outstanding location. The hotel amenities from the rooms to the restaurants are outstanding. Go for the $20 per night unadvertised upgrade for the beach front rooms. You have to wait until check in to go for this or the Jr Suite option which is $40 per night. The maid service is outstanding rooms were very clean and fridge stocked constantly. The food is way good it is in the outstanding range as far as taste and quality. Dont miss the Lobster with Paella on the beach for lunch (Tues and Sat) and the labster at dinner on thursday. I have spent time in Hotels in Playa Dorada and Punta Can...This place rivals and in someways bests the Barcelo, Bavaro Place Deluxe. The only ding I can give it is the beds are a bit hard
