The Westin Aruba Resort

The Hotel is nice and accommodating. The staff was very nice and always very attentative. The food selection is not the best in the restaurant especially for lunch but the walk to the other restaurants in the area is only about 10 minutes. Overall the stay was nice.

We stayed here 10 years ago when we got married and we returned to stay because our experience the first time visiting when it was Wyndham was excellent! However, upon returning 10 years later, it didn't have the same feel. The hotel was okay, but not what we expected. The carpet was dingy and the room had a damp smell. The tub floor was not firm. It felt like it would cave in at any moment. The hotel, while neat, seemed somewhat dated. The hotel staff was great, but the restaurant breakfast wasn't worth the money and the cooking staff were not attentive at all. Not a bad place to stay, but you could find better hotels for the price elsewhere.

We had a wonderful time at the Westin. The staff were very helpful we made our requests before we arrived and Brenda Brown, and Glenda Koolman, made sure that our room and anniversay was very special. Very clean rooms thanks to June and Alexandra. The Bloosum Resturant was a great treat. Very good food.The beach staff were the best Jerry was so very nice to us as well as Ellen. We could not of been better taken care of than at the Westin. So looking forward to going back.

We had ocean and Island views from our room and EVERY room had the same views. We loved it friendly island everything was easy and safe and could use USA currency.

Although we had reservations upon arrival we didn't have a room. We were given a free drink while they addressed the problem. No big deal but the "problems" continued. The room smelled like mildew. The entire building needs renovated. There were elevator problems 75% of the time. They offer Wi Fi service which we were not able to use for some reason. The hotel could not help us. I had to use the internet for business purposes and found out I had to pay $5.95 per 15 minutes. I flipped! Windy beach also had to pay for the beach huts

i've stayed at other hotels on the island during previous trips to Aruba and unfortunately the Westin doesn't compare. There were only 4 elevators- 3 that worked for a relatively large hotel. We spent at least 15 minutes a day waiting for an elevator to arrive! We had to hit the pool early on in the morning to secure a spot...not enough chairs and forget breakfast- the line would stretch around the hotel for the ONE restaurant that served a breakfast buffet. Other than the good location- this hotel was not one of my faves and I would not stay here again.

Beautiful lobby, but thats about it. Old rooms, dirty hallways, not the friendlist staff. Small beach and very difficult to rent a palapa for the day. No free palapas on the beach. Definitely would not stay at this hotel again.

My first time in aruba and definitely not my last. Hotel was nice, had all of the basics plus a little more. Hotel has great location in the center of everything. Staff was friendly. Overall perfect trip and will be back again!

The hotel is at the end of the strip so a bit more of a walk to the restaurants/shops than some of the other hotels in the highrise strip, but this also means it is a bit more quiet and secluded which is nice (can't hear restaurant noise from hotel). The pools aren't that special (e.g., no pool bar) compared to the other high rise hotels. But the beach is nice and staff were friendly.

Hotel was nice and clean. Excellent location. The hotel is not 4 stars. It is 3 stars with the price of 4.
